Let us introduce Night Terrors: a game that puts ghosts into your home, turning your sanctuary into a haunted house.

Want to experience movie-level horrors right in the private hell of your own home? Then Night Terrors, the Indiegogo-funded game app is right up your alley.

Night Terrors uses your phone camera to make a map of your entire home, and then uses augmented reality to place ghosts and demons on your phone and seemingly in your house’s landscape (when you hold the camera just right). And that’s not all — the game will even scan things like art on your walls, so it can push the objects around and even drop them (on camera, of course), lending even more reality to this fantasy game. It’s crazy ambitious and insanely frightening.

From the Indiegogo page:

The game controls what you see, what you hear, and where you go. Your device’s LED is all the light you get. The camera and microphone feeds are analyzed and processed in real-time. Photorealistic elements are added to the camera feed. Audio is spatialized, mixed with the microphone feed, and then routed to the headphones delivering an immersive binaural audio experience.

The goal of the game is simple: save the girl while surviving the night.

You can’t purchase the game yet, it’s still in the development and funding stage. However, you can pre-order it (which will also help fund the actual game itself) via Indiegogo.
