It’s been a long time coming since the original 2008 The Strangers hit theaters and made us afraid to be alone in our own homes, but after a decade of waiting, the masked home invading marauders are back with a vengeance. As we covered before, this new sequel is stars Christina Hendricks as she and her family go for a Labor Day vacation to a trailer park, only to discover too late that they are not alone, and are now being hunted by Man in the Mask, Dollface, and Pin-Up Girl.

Directed by Johannes Roberts and written by Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai, the trailer shows the family ready to fight back while the masked killers put them on the run, and despite living up to the title of Prey At Night with the terror occurring in the dead of night, the setting is oddly brightly lit with a neon tint. Stalking around the trailer park with bright lights and with the pop-tune of Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now” as the axes and knives draw near and the innocent family vacation turns into a deadly ordeal. The Strangers: Prey At Night is due for a theatrical release on March 9th, 2018.
