The upcoming Halloween reboot has received a brand new poster revealing a close up of Michael Myers’ weathered mask! Director of development for Blumhouse Production Ryan Turek posted the image on his Instagram account this morning hyping up fans to see Myers returned to his former terrifying glory.
Check out the spine-tingling image below. I’m getting goosebumps just looking at it.
The film is being directed by David Gordon Green, who is co-writing the screenplay with Danny McBride (based on the characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill). Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode to face off with the boogeyman once again. Original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle will once again be The Shape under the mask.
Here’s the official synopsis on IMDB for the upcoming Halloween reboot:
“Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”
Myers will return to Haddonfield October 19, 2018.
Hopefully, Blumhouse won’t make us wait too much longer for a trailer with the film just six months away! Are you excited for the upcoming Halloween reboot?! Tell us in the comments!
