Get ready, Lucifer fans. Netflix has dropped a teaser for the fourth season of the series!

The show, which began on Fox, was picked up by Netflix after fans protested the series’ premature and unexpected cancellation.

However, since they’ve picked up the show, there has been little world on how it would proceed or in what new intrigue Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) might find themselves.

With the new teaser, it seems that Eve (Inbar) will be joining the new season’s adventures. This could be an interesting twist as Tom Welling played Cain throughout last season.

Lucifer is loosely based on the character as he was portrayed in The Sandman comics written by Neil Gaiman. In the story, the devil left hell after years of feeling trapped and opened up a nightclub where he serves as host and upon occasion makes a deal or two.

While little is revealed about the actual plot in the teaser and no release date is included, it’s nice to see the cast back in character, especially Ellis who plays Lucifer with devilish glee.
