Just the other day we saw some new behind-the-scenes images from Rob Zombie’s upcoming 3 From Hell, but the sneak peeks keep coming thanks to Zombie’s official Instagram account.
3 From Hell has yet to receive an official release date, but we can expect to see it some time in 2019. The film will further follow the exploits of the Firefly clan – made popular by The Devil’s Rejects and its predecessor, House of 1000 Corpses.
Where and how this new entry will fit into the timeline is unsure. It’s been toted as a sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, however, as fans will know, the ending of that film had a certain… finality… in regards to the fate of the Firefly family.
Zombie’s newest film sees 31‘s Pancho Moler (he played maniac clown Sick-Head) as a newly announced character, Sebastian. How, you may ask, does Sebastian fit in to the story? As Zombie teases, “only time will tell”.
Next up we see genre legend Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Til Dawn, Predators) back as Rondo, his character from The Devil’s Rejects.
Jeff Daniel Phillips (Westworld) is shown below as Warden Virgil Dallas Harper. Phillips has previously worked with Zombie on The Lords of Salem, 31, and Halloween II.
Lastly, it’s Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, seen here as he is “escorted to his cell”.
3 From Hell will see the return of stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, and Bill Moseley, as well as the aforementioned Danny Trejo, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Pancho Moler. We’ll also see Sean Whalen, Clint Howard, Richard Brake, Dot-Marie Jones, Daniel Roebuck, and Dee Wallace rounding out the cast.
