Monster Hunter is a popular title on PS4. Now, in addition to the game franchise, we are receiving a film adaptation from Paul W.S. Anderson and now we know that film is going to come with a PG-13 rating.

Anderson is notably known for his Resident Evil film adaptation and of course the underrated classic, Event Horizon. The film will see Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) and Tony Jaa (Ong Bak) go head to head with a cadre of monsters.

The film centers on:

A world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, revolting attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back.

These days the PG-13 rating can buy a lot and see a lot of gore. We can be fairly certain there will still be lots of fierce monster V human battles.

So what do you think Monster Hunter fans? Excited to see the film adaptation?
