Marvel’s The Avengers was a mixed bag of accomplishment and confusion. While it has become a better game through updates, it was very confusing when it first released. Well, now Marvel is going to the darkside with a badass roster that contains a lot of Marvel’s supernatural characters in Midnight Suns.
The tactical RPG is going to include a host of some of our favorite Marvel characters. These include Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Mobius, Hellstrom and more. These are the characters that are very involved in the suprnatural or at least dabble in it… or in some cases are reluctant to accept but are none the less involved.
The synopsis for Marvel’s Midnight Suns goes like this:
“Through a twisted marriage of magic and science, the nefarious force known as Hydra has revived Lilith, Mother of Demons, after centuries of slumber. Lilith will stop at nothing to complete an ancient prophecy and summon her evil master, Chthon. Pushed to the brink, the Avengers desperately look to fight fire with Hellfire by enlisting the help of the Midnight Suns – Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik, and Ghost Rider – young heroes with powers deeply rooted in the supernatural, formed to prevent the very prophecy Lilith aims to fulfill. Together, they resurrect an ancient warrior – the Hunter, Lilith’s forsaken child and the only hero known to have ever defeated her.”
This is going to be a hell of a battle, if you will excuse the pun. Lilith and Chthon are huge baddies in the Midnight Suns. It’s going to be a hell of a showdown… if the game is any good that is. After, the confusion with Marvel’s Avengers you can bet that fans are going to be wary of this one. But, the trailer just might change your mind. If not that, the gameplay might.
Below, you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect out of Midnight Suns, from story, to gameplay and more.
