‘Lucifer’ Season Five will Feature “Bloody Celestial” Musical Episode

by Waylon Jordan

The premiere of the final season of Lucifer on Netflix is drawing near, and we’ve learned from Entertainment Weekly that episode 10 of the season will be a no holds barred musical!

The episode, titled “Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam,” will reportedly feature multiple musical numbers from various cast members.

Series star, Tom Ellis has proven himself a capable crooner since the beginning of the series often sitting at the piano in Lucifer’s nightclub, and season four featured an incredible performance of Oasis’s 1995 hit “Wonderwall” by series star Lesley-Ann Brandt.

We’re hoping with the episode title, however, that the whole gang will be in on the musical action.

“We wanted to have a real grounded story reason why they’re signing and dancing, and not just, ‘Oh, this is going to be the one where everybody sings and dance,’” showrunner Ildy Modrovich told EW. “It’s been a little game of Tetris [planning the episode] but it’s super fun. It’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be just such a bucket list thing for me.”

There is no song list available yet for the episode, but the creative minds behind this series have proven they have a knack for picking out just the right song to create moments throughout the show’s run.

Check out a couple of those past musical performances, and get ready to be thoroughly entertained when season five of Lucifer debuts later this year.
