Between broadcast networks, basic cable, premium cable and streaming, there’s no end to the amount of quality horror-based TV shows to binge and enjoy. American Horror Story, Stranger Things, Channel Zero, and The Walking Dead are just some great selections.

While Amazon Prime isn’t quite Netflix has when it comes to genre programming, one fun show they do offer is Lore. Based on the popular podcast of the same name, Lore uses cinematic reenactments and documentary footage to recount purportedly true tales of terror.

Season 1 premiered on Amazon in October 2017, just in time for Halloween. The first season featured six episodes, covered subjects like werewolves, haunted dolls, changelings, and ghosts, and starred recognizable actors like Robert Patrick, Colm Feore, and Adam Goldberg.

Season 2 will also consist of six episodes, and is set to arrive on Amazon on October 19th. This is by no means a bad Halloween tradition for the company’s streaming arm to establish, as the reality-based frights provided by Lore are perfect for this time of year.

Anyway, without further ado, check out the full trailer for season 2 below, and prepare to get creeped out when the new batch of episodes hits next month. After all, horror fiction is great, but nothing is scarier than a terrifying event that might have actually happened.
