September 30th marks the home video release of Leprechaun: Origins, the ‘it was bound to happen’ reboot of the franchise that began just over twenty years ago, in 1993. Throughout the course of those twenty years, the original film spawned a whopping five sequels, which took the pint-sized demon to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, space and tha hood – the latter of which he enjoyed so much that he returned a few years later.

Per Fangoria, the announcement has just been made that the entire Leprechaun franchise is making its way onto Blu-ray on September 30th, with the original six films being packaged alongside the WWE-produced reboot. This is the very first time that ANY of the films in the series have hit Blu-ray, though the original franchise was collected together in a DVD set a few years back.
