Smodcast Pictures and Semkor Productions are bringing us Kevin Smith’s next feature. Killroy Was Here looks to be an entirely B-movie approach that has a lineup of Kev’s usual suspects.
The film based on the infamous World War II Kilroy Was Here graffiti, invents its own mythos and stretches it across an anthology picture. This is Kevin Smith’s 4th entry into the horror genre. Well, technically 4 and a half. Red State, Tusk, Yoga Hosers and his short film in Holidays. The whole thing looks like good fun.
It’s always pretty polarizing but, I’ve always been a fan of Smith’s horror films. They adhere to their own set of rules and I respect it. Tusk was a good time and showcased one of my favorite Michael Park roles. If you haven’t yet, you should definitely check it out.
The Tusk synopsis goes like this:
A U.S. podcaster (Justin Long) ventures into the Canadian wilderness to interview an old man (Michael Parks) who has an extraordinary past, and the American learns the man has a dark secret involving a walrus.
Kevin showed the trailer for Killroy Was Here along with a look Masters of the Universe: Revelation during his Comic Con at Home appearance.
