Halloween may be officially over–is it ever really over?–but Jamie Lee Curtis has horror fans covered with some first-look footage from the highly-anticipated Halloween Kills set for release in October 2020.
Curtis took to Twitter yesterday with a little sneak peak of the “mayhem” coming in the new film.
‘Tis the season….. to start screaming. First look at the mayhem David has created for all of you. @halloweenmovie #halloweenkills #strodesstrong @universalpictures @miramax @blumhouse @halloweenmovie pic.twitter.com/klrpzk1Ykg

It’s now a whole lot but there are still some interesting things to see in there, and it’s also nice to get some of those behind the scenes shots with director, David Gordon Green.
Plot details about the new film are scarce but a whole host of the original film’s stars are set to reprise the roles they played 40 years ago including Kyle Richards who will return as Lindsey Wallace and Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett–former sheriff of Haddonfield who spent that fateful Halloween night patrolling the streets with Dr. Loomis and lost his daughter in Michael’s first big killing spree.
More recently, Nancy Stephens was announced, returning as Nurse Marion Chambers.
It was previously announced that Anthony Michael Hall would join the cast and assume the role of Tommy Doyle, the boy that Laurie was babysitting back in 1978.
With this first little bit of footage released, you can bet all eyes will be on the stars’ social media for more glimpses of Halloween Kills, and iHorror will keep you posted as details become available.
