I don’t know about you, but my most anticipated horror movie of 2019 was IT: Chapter Two, director Andy Muschietti’s sequel to his hit 2017 Stephen King adaptation. While critic reactions were mixed, I still quite enjoyed it, although flaws were present.
For anyone else looking to revisit – or perhaps watch for the first time – IT: Chapter Two, Blu-Ray.com reports that Warner Bros. will release the horror sequel to Blu-Ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on December 10th. The DVD and Blu-Ray come in a combo pack.
Sadly, much as with the home video release of the first IT, despite Muschietti’s endless talk about deleted scenes and director’s cuts, only the theatrical cut of IT: Chapter Two is confirmed to be included. Well, that’s quite the let down, at least for the time being.
The special features listing for IT: Chapter Two follows. No details on what everything is yet, but a commentary track is welcome, and The Summers of IT is most likely some kind of long-form making of documentary chronicling the production of both films.
