The annual Horrible Imaginings Film Festival is not about to be liable for your death if you chose to watch Antrum: The Deadliest Film Ever Made.
Ripped from the Willaim Castle standard operating procedure manual on hype, the contract absolves everyone involved with the festival of liability should you meet an untimely demise after viewing the film.
Done in the found footage format, Antrum’s logline claims the film was lost in 1979 only for a single copy to have mysteriously re-emerged last year.
And just to make things a bit creepier, the movie boasts responsibility for the “deaths of over 60 people.” It’s no wonder Festival Director Miguel Rodriguez wants to cover his assets.
The festival is taking place in Santa Ana, California, from Aug 30 to September 1.
For those of you making the film fest circuit this year (and survived Antrum) be sure to check out our inaugural event, the iHorror Film Festival on October 5 at the Cuban Club in the historic Ybor City district of Tampa, Florida.
