Hulu: Here’s What’s Coming And Going For April 2020

Timothy RawlesHulu, NewsLeave a Comment

Hulu has really stepped up its game as a streaming service in the last few years. From complete seasons of popular television series to original horror programming, the binge effect is second only to Netflix.

With that in mind check out what’s coming and going on Hulu’s vast menu this month.

From an Academy Award-winning black comedy about class warfare to a docu-style series featuring vampires, werewolves and other lore-ific monsters, Hulu makes sheltering in place a little more bearable.

Also, somewhere between Black Mirror and Twilight Zone is Hulu’s original Into the Dark series with feature-length horror movies that highlight the holidays of the month.

This month it’s Pooka Lives, a sequel to the 2018 Into the Dark original about a monster mascot costume. Check out the trailer below.

April Highlights

Future Man: Complete Final Season (Season 3) (4/3)

Into the Dark: Pooka Lives: New Episode Premiere (Hulu Original) (4/3)

Little Joe follows Alice (Emily Beecham), a single mother and dedicated senior plant breeder at a corporation engaged in developing new species. She has engineered a special crimson flower, remarkable not only for its beauty but also for its therapeutic value: if kept at the ideal temperature, fed properly and spoken to regularly, this plant makes its owner happy. Against company policy, Alice takes one home as a gift for her teenage son, Joe. They christen it ‘Little Joe.’ But as their plant grows, so too does Alice’s suspicion that her new creation may not be as harmless as its nickname suggests.

Fargo: Season 4 Premiere (FX) (4/20)

In 1950 Kansas City, the fourth installment of Fargo centers on two criminal syndicates who are fighting for a piece of the American dream and have struck an uneasy peace. Together, they control an alternate economy of exploitation, graft and drugs. To cement their truce, Loy Cannon (Chris Rock), the head of the African American crime family, trades his youngest son Satchel (Rodney Jones), to his enemy Donatello Fadda (Tomasso Ragno), the head of the Italian mafia.
