E3 is only a week away and already there has been a reported leak of a new Fable game headed our way from Playground Games. The video, that was taken down not long after being leaked, comes just ahead of Microsoft’s upcoming larger than usual presence at E3 2019.

Details from the video were screencapped on Reddit by LagSwag1. The screen shot gave away the possible following details.

  • First/Third Person
  • In Depth character creator
  • Completely Open
  • No guns
  • Can ignore main quest and never become a hero
  • Players can build towns, ties into main quest heavily if you get the bad ending and fail
  • Multiplayer
  • Unreal Engine

There are additional details revolving around the return of characters from previous Fable lore such as Jack of Blades and The Heroes Guild. For those who recall, Fable III ended on a heck of a down note that involved all out annihilation. From the few leaked details it sounds like the world is in trouble once again. Yep, you guessed it more of those pesky asteroids.

I’m excited to see what a new Dev team can bring to such a rich table. Whatever it is we can expect to see more at E3 2019.

What do you guys think? Excited to return to the world of Fable?
