We’re just a couple weeks away from this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, which will see the world premieres of many horror films we absolutely cannot wait to see. Films like Joe Begos’ The Mind’s Eye, Jeremy Saulnier’s Green Room, and the short Portal to Hell are on our radar, to name just a few.

Hailing from Turkey, and premiering at the festival on September 11th, Baskin marks the feature debut of director Can Evrenol, and if the brand spankin’ new trailer is any indication, it’s going to be one hell of a nightmarish trip into, well, Hell itself. Seriously guys. This one looks super creepy.

The film follows five cops working the graveyard shift who get called out to the middle of nowhere to investigate a disturbance. Sans backup, the policemen end up in a labyrinthine ruin that conceals the blood soaked den of a group of terrifying cultists that plunges them into a bloody world of violent madness.

Evrenol will be on hand at the September 11th TIFF screening, which is sure to terrify attendees. Check out the Baskin trailer below!
