This past Sunday, several horror movie autographed items were stolen from a company whose owner attended The Mad Monster Convention. The owner of the items was at a Mad Monster Party at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix Hotel when the crime occurred.  A truck and trailer that contained the memorabilia was stolen from in front of the E-Z 8 Motel, 1820 S. 7th St. Authorities found the trailer Sunday afternoon, but with items missing. The truck, a brown 1987 model Chevrolet pickup, has not been recovered.

Two pieces stolen from the trailer were a chainsaw signed by Gunnar Hansen, who played the original Leatherface in the 1974 movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
