A third and final season of Hemlock Grove has been ordered by Netflix. The show was one of Netflix’s first original shows that premiered in April of 2013. It was received with such enthusiasm that Netflix ordered a second season that just premiered in July of this year.
Last season was an emotional roller coaster for the series’ main characters Roman (Bill Skarsgard), Peter (Landon Liboiron), Olivia (Famke Janssen), and Shelley (Nicole Boivin). We saw some characters grow and struggle with the new responsibilities of adulthood, while some disappointed us in their backslide but left us giggling like children all the same. What will this last season hold for us? Will it top season two’s surprising finale? Executive producer Eli Roth hints that the finale season will be even better than the previous season in a statement he released.
“We are so grateful to the fans of ‘Hemlock Grove’ who have championed the series so intensely over two seasons. We are looking forward to taking the last and final season into some dark and unexpected places, and to giving viewers the killer finale you’d come to expect from ‘Hemlock Grove.”
Let us know in the comments below what your thoughts are about this gothic thriller coming to an end. Also, I wonder how poor Olivia feels about all this. Probably not too pleased from the looks of it.
