It’s almost time to see Halloween, and your pre-sale ticket purchase will get you an exclusive perk.
American ticketing company Fandango announced that advance tickets are going on sale this morning, Oct. 5, for David Gordon Green’s “Halloween,” opening October 19.
The company says based on a recent survey the film is the most anticipated movie of the season with a projected $60M+ in advanced sales.
As a special incentive, moviegoers who skip the box office and use Fandango will get a download of the new theme song from the soundtrack by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies.
The entire album is getting released the same day as the movie over at Sacred Bones Records.
“‘Halloween’ has everything you could want in a horror flick, as it’s absolutely frightening with a tinge of the dark humor you’d expect from director David Gordon Green,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “There’s good reason why it’s the most anticipated horror movie of the fall: it’s a direct sequel to the original film four decades later and featuring the original star, Jamie Lee Curtis, the original Michael Myers, Nick Castle, and the original director, John Carpenter, returning as the composer.”
