We are now exactly two weeks away from the release of Mortal Kombat X, which promises to be one of the most badass video games in the history of video games. Both Predator and Jason Voorhees have been confirmed as playable characters, and the game also marks the return of Brutalities.
Of course, every character will also have his/her own Fatality, and if you thought Mortal Kombat was gory in the past, you truly haven’t seen anything yet. Thankfully for those of us who don’t have time machines, we don’t have to wait until April 14th to get a taste of the gruesome action…
Our friends over at IGN have just put together a 7-minute video showcasing EVERY Mortal Kombat X Fatality that has thus far been revealed, all in glorious 1080p. Yes, seven full minutes of high-definition bone breaking, blood spraying and organ flaying, all ready for your viewing pleasure.
Check out the video below, which is quite frankly only safe for work if you work from home!
Mortal Kombat X will be released on all major platforms, including Playstation 3, Playstation 4, XBox 360, XBox One and Windows PC. Look for it in stores on April 14th, and head over to Amazon to secure your copy – and nab exclusive pre-order character Goro!
Mortal Kombat X includes a new, original and non-linear storyline “showcasing some of the game’s most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil and tie the tale together.” At E3 2014, it was confirmed that the story would begin at the end of the previous game and then eventually transition to twenty-five years into the future, placing emphasis on aged veterans, new characters and the next-generation offspring of the previous fighters.
