Zak Bagans and the crew from Ghost Adventures are taking on a brand new challenge this October when they’ll take on the infamous Perron House for their annual Halloween lockdown.
For those of you out there scratching your heads, that would be the house that became the subject of 2013’s The Conjuring.
Roger and Carolyn Perron were reported told “For the sake of your family, leave the lights on at night” when they moved into the home with their five daughters. They were slightly confused as anyone would be in such a situation but they began settling into what they thought would be their dream home.
Over the following ten years, they were subjected to brutal, terrifying hauntings which eventually led them to Ed and Lorraine Warren. When James Wan decided to create a film based on the Warren case files, the Perron haunting seemed the perfect fit and the rest is horror movie history.
“The residual energy alone is palpable. And the real-life house that inspired the Conjuring movies – I’m speechless! That has a been a dream of mine to investigate for years and I can’t believe it’s finally happening,” Bagans was quoted by Newsweek. “It’s beyond legendary. I can’t wait for viewers to experience this terrifying adventure with us.”
The Ghost Adventures investigation will air on October 31, 2019, but it won’t be the only time you’ll hear from the crew in October.
Beginning on October 5, Ghost Adventures: Serial Killer Spirits will air as a limited series with episodes focusing on communicating with the spirits of deceased serial killers.
Both shows will air as part of Travel Channel’s paranormal “Ghostober” celebration.
