Fans of the hit show Ghost Adventures are saddened by the horrific news today of the apparent murder/suicide of show regulars Mark and Debby Constantino as reported by the local police with a third apparent murder of a male roommate of Debbys’. The couple were featured in various episodes of the Travel Channel’s spooky show including the paranormal investigation of the infamously haunted Goldfield Hotel in Nevada. The pair specialized in EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) and provided their services to the Ghost Adventures trio on their search for the paranormal.

Nevada KTVN states the couple were estranged and living with roommates at the time of the incident on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Reno police had responded to a call at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday about a man found dead at the home in Reno where Debby Constantino and another woman had been living. Officers had then tracked her cell phone to the couple’s eldest daughter’s apartment across town in Sparks, Nevada. Upon Police approaching the residence, gunshots were fired from inside and a man screaming for the officers to leave.

“Give me 15 minutes to gather my thoughts, or I’ll kill her,” Reno Deputy Police Chief Tom Robinson told the newspaper.

The police attempting to diffuse the apparent hostage situation with negotiation was to no avail, and S.W.A.T teams barged through the home five hours later to find the couple dead in what appeared to be a murder/suicide.

According to sources the couple had petitioned for divorce and was set to appear in courts for the decree in December of this year. It has also been said the pair had a long history of domestic violence including an incident back in August where Mark Constantino was charged with kidnapping and domestic battery after allegedly pulling Debby from a car, taking her inside a house and attempting to strangle her. The couple’s daughter, Raquel Constantino, was also charged with kidnapping, domestic battery, and vehicle burglary following the incident. Both Mark and Raquel Constantino, were bailed out and awaiting trial for the incident.

Our condolences to family and friends of the deceased.
