Scary Stories: A Tribute to Terror, a new volume written by Curt Tuckfield and illustrated by Shane Hunt in tribute to the classic Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is available as a free digital download on the project’s official website!

Featuring 34 all new stories and over 60 illustrations based on the three original volumes written by Alvin Schwartz and illustrated by Stephen Gammell, Scary Stories: A Tribute to Terror is the perfect way to while away a couple of hours while you’re self-isolating as well as a great family activity for those with smaller kids at home who are running out of ways to keep them entertained.

Tuckfield and Hunt really tapped into the spirit of the Schwartz’s work and some of their stories are honestly even spookier than those we read in the original trilogy so many years ago.

Hunt also previously worked on the documentary Cody Meirick’s Scary Stories documentary providing illustrations and animations inspired by Gammell’s work.

The digital download is available as a PDF that should open on almost any device. Physical copies of the collection are also on sale, marked down from $24 to only $19.
