We got a quick peek at Jordan Peele’s upcoming HBO series, Lovecraft Country as part of HBO’s ‘coming soon in 2020’ promo reel. We only get a few seconds to see what is going on in the series, and boy are they the quickest seconds to ever be timed.

The series, created by Jordan Peele and Misha Green is based on a Matt Ruff novel and sees Atticus Black, Leticia Dandgridge and George Black cross the southern America in 1950 in order to find Atticus’ missing father. While dealing with the real world monsters of that part of our country’s history, they also come upon actual monsters similar to those from H.P. Lovecraft lore.

We don’t really get to see much in this promo, but it does give us a cool logo for the series complete with a Cthulhu emblem. We look forward to seeing more of the series in 2020.

What do you guys think excited about the new Lovecraft content? Let us know in the comments section.
