We were worried. We were worried a lot, Beverly. Pennywise: The Story of IT, the upcoming documentary from director Christopher Griffiths, assistant director Adam Evans, writer/ producer John Campopiano, and producer Gary Smart is coming to the end of its deadlights trail for the campaign TODAY. And with most of the young Loser’s Club signed on to take part in the anticipated doc from the 1990 miniseries with the exception of Seth Green and the late Jonathan Brandis, we still had no word of Miss Emily Perkins’ (young Beverly Marsh) participation in the Story of IT; Until now!

In an exclusive given to iHorror today, we have confirmation that Miss Perkins has signed on to take part in Pennywise: The Story of IT!

Per John Campopiano:

“Our team is thrilled to welcome actress, Emily Perkins, to Pennywise: The Story of IT! The character of “Beverly Marsh” is integral to both King’s novel and miniseries adaptation, so there’s no doubt that this project just that much more special now that Emily’s involved. And, of course, we’re eager to hear her stories from the set of IT but we’re also looking forward to seeing how her aim is with a slingshot all these years later.”

From the makers of ‘You’re so cool, Brewster! The Story of Fright Night‘ and ‘RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop‘ and the director of ‘Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Path to Pet Sematary’ comes this brand-new documentary celebrating the legacy of ‘Stephen King’s IT’ and the legend Tim Curry. With over 30 interviews and hours of behind the scenes footage this is YOUR opportunity to support this independent project and make it a reality.

Pennywise: The Story of IT will also feature interviews from the likes of Tim Curry (in his first in-depth interview on his portrayal of Pennywise) director Tommy Lee Wallace, special effects wizard Bart Mixon, writer Larry D. Cohan, a good portion of the original young and adult cast of the Loser’s Club, and more!!

The campaign for this documentary that first began back in March of this year, is coming to a close TODAY boils and ghouls.
