Disney+ had a heck of launch but not necessarily a surprising one. The big surprise came in the form of Gargoyles. The Greg Weisman created series was met with a furious binging rate on the new streaming service.

Weisman proudly took to Twitter to announce how thrilled he was with the turnout.

“I’m thrilled Gargoyles is available on Disney+,” Weisman tells Inverse via email. “Thrilled that fans — old and new — can see or be exposed to the series and thrilled that this represents at least a chance of getting Gargoyles back. Hence the #KeepBingingGargoyles campaign.”

He also went on to say that his other series Young Justice managed to comeback thanks to the fans. Maybe it’s possible that this series makes a comeback in the same way.

Gargoyles ran from 94 to 97 with a total of seventy-eight episodes. It featured the voice talents of Keith David, Salli Richardson and Jonathan Frakes.

The series followed a group of Gargoyles in their nightly adventures to protect New York City.

It isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility that Disney+ could bring the series back. But, we will have to wait and see. If you are a Gargoyles fan now would be the time to get on your socials and let the world know that you need more Gargoyles in your life.

Were you a fan of the series? Have you been binging? Let us know in the comments section.

Gargoyles is now available to stream via Disney+.
