Did the Annabelle Doll Just Escape The Occult Museum?

The doll with all the looks and the demonic forces, Annabelle is a cornerstone of James Wan’s Conjuring Universe. The doll that has long been kept locked up and key at Ed and Lorraine Warren’s Occult Museum in Connecticut is rumored to have escaped from her captivity.

As much as this seems the most likely thing ever to happen in 2020. It appears its not as simple as the rumor is making it out to be.

In the 1970’s Ed and Lorraine Warren placed the doll in an enclosure after pronouncing that the the object was indeed demonically possessed. The Conjuring and its three spinoff sequels definitely shine some more light on the legend of Annabelle if you haven’t checked them all out yet.

The rumor that lit social media ablaze was that Annabelle had pulled a Andy Dufresne and broke out of her prison. However, the real doll has long been outside of the Occult Museum’s walls. Back in 2017, the museum was forced to close due to zoning issues. Since then, the Warren’s son-in-law, Tony Spera has had possession of Annabelle and other haunted Warren objects.

So there is no Shawshank Redemption and Annabelle crossover coming out anytime soon, unfortunately.

Why the heck would Annabelle want to escape out into 2020. She is going to stay where she is safe. Let’s face it she isn’t ready for the trash fire of 2020.
