A couple of weeks back, we found out from a Shockwaves Podcast, that Julian Sands (Warlock) will star in Glenn Danzig’s next film as a character known as “The Count”. During the podcast Sands described the film as a vampire western. Now, Final Destination’s Devon Sawa is being added to the cast of Death Rider.

Our friends over at Bloody Disgusting were first to discover that film is set to be titled Death Rider.

During a screening for Danzig’s Verotica, Danzig gave a little morsel of what to expect from his next film.

“a vampire-spaghetti western. The soundtrack has been done for two years and of course it sounds almost exactly like an Ennio Morricone soundtrack. I think I’m actually going to do a small part in it too. Everybody in the movie is a vampire. So, you won’t have to wait around to see the vampire. They’re all f—ing vampires!”

Personally, I’m a huge Julian Sands fan, and Devon Sawa has a rich history in the genre. The announcement of both of their involvement is really exciting. Added to that, there is also a possibility that Danny Trejo might aslo be involved in the film. Trejo is no stranger to vampires since his involvement in From Dusk Till Dawn.

What do you guys think? Excited for another Glenn Danzig film? Let us know in the comments section.
