Netflix’s popular series, Dead to Me is coming back for its third and final season. Dead to Me creator, Liz Feldman signed a major partnership with the streaming giant. She will now produce the upcoming final season as well as a multi-year deal to create other projects.
“From Start to finish, Dead To Me is exactly the show I wanted to make. And it’s been an incredible gift. Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human. I’ll be forever indebted to my partners in crime, my friends for life, Christina and Linda, and our brilliantly talented writers, cast and crew. I am beyond grateful to Netflix for supporting Dead To Me from day one, and I’m thrilled to continue our collaboration.” Feldman said in a release.
The series synopsis goes like this:
Jen’s husband recently died in a hit-and-run, and the sardonic widow determined to solve the crime. Optimistic free spirit Judy has recently suffered a tragic loss of her own. The ladies meet at a support group and, despite their polar-opposite personalities, become unlikely friends. As the women bond over bottles of wine and a shared affinity for “The Facts of Life,” Judy tries to shield Jen from a shocking secret that could destroy her life as she knows it.
