Dead by Daylight is headed to the Upside Down next month when it will add a new Stranger Things chapter to its content along with a new killer and not one, but two, new survivors.

The new chapter was confirmed by the game’s official Twitter this morning along with a brand new trailer.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical survival horror game developed by Behavior Interactive that was first released in 2016. Four players take on the role of survivor while one plays the killer who attempts to capture them and sacrifice them to the Entity.

The game was already gaining notoriety and a loyal following before it began to add killers and survivors from popular horror franchises like The Texas Chain Saw MassacreThe Evil Dead, and Scream.

The Stranger Things chapter will add both Nancy and Steve as survivors and will introduce the Demogorgon as the new killer.

While there is no solid date for the release, we do know that it will happen in September of 2019. We also know Dead by Daylight will finally be available for the Nintendo Switch on September 24, 2019, however, and it’s not a big leap to imagine timing the release of the new chapter to coincide with that launch.

Check out the new trailer for the Stranger Things chapter below and let us know what you think!
