Saturday Night Live created one of its most memorable characters in recent years with David S. Pumpkins, the non-frightening, and apparently pointless Halloween character.

Despite being less scary than a mattress salesman, Tom Hanks has brought the character to cult status and he will be immortalized with his own collectible by Funko.

Pumpkin apparently¬†lives (works?) inside a “Tower of Terror” type attraction and attempts to scare riders with a face-painted skeleton crew of dancers by his side who pop and lock to a vocal-synth beat, both dressed in cheesy bone bodysuits.

“How’s it hangin’?” he asks perplexed riders, after the elevator doors open, “I’m David Pumpkins, and I’m going to scare the hell out of you!” His act so cheesy, the riders cringe after they hear he will be appearing in 73 out of 100 floors.

Clad in his signature Jack-O-Lantern suit and finger-gun pose, You can almost hear him asking his catch-phrase, “Any questions?”

The figure is scheduled to be released this winter, although Funko has not released a date. But you know what? David S. Pumpkins does his own thang!
