While many professional wrestlers have tried their hand at becoming Hollywood actors, it’s pretty rare that they succeed beyond starring in a few forgettable B-movies. One need only ask people like Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, or Bill Goldberg to find out as much.

Of course, the most successful wrestler turned actor is by far Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, one of the biggest stars on Earth. Hot on his heels as of late though are old rival John Cena, and someone Rock rarely crossed paths with in the ring, Dave Bautista.

Bautista is best known for playing Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Infinity War, and has also appeared in Blade Runner 2049, Spectre, and soon, DC’s The Suicide Squad. Now, Bautista has landed his latest role.

According to Deadline, Bautista has been cast in zombie heist film Army of the Dead, set to be directed by Zack Snyder. Snyder helmed 2004’s kickass Dawn of the Dead remake, and this will be his return to horror. Details on Bautista’s role remain a secret.

Army of the Dead takes place during a zombie outbreak, and sees a team of mercenaries attempt to pull off the ultimate heist from inside a quarantined zone. In the meantime, Bautista returns to the ring on Sunday, facing Triple H at WWE WrestleMania.
