Everyone can go home now. This dad just won Dad of the year for having his son picked up by Friday the 13’s Jason Voorhees.

Yea, I know. I can’t handle the cool adorableness of this either, you guys. To add to the amazing Dad status that this already promotes. It also turns out that this happens to have been young Carter’s birthday and that this was a sole request made by young Carter on said birthday.

So, instead of denying his kiddo that one of a kinda experience, dad contacted Tony Gartland, a local who is a wiz at all things special effects makeup. He had Gartland wait around the corner from the school to give his son and surprise that is usually reserved to Camp Crystal Lake guests.

Gartland then walked, young Carter all the way home followed by a tour of Carter and dad’s house and even received a Friday the 13th shirt from Jason himself.

Guys, this news totally made my Friday. Check out the heartwarming pics posted below and let us know which horror icon you would want to walk you home from school… or work.
