Over the course of the past few weeks, Rob Zombie has been teasing cast additions to his upcoming Halloween horror flick 31, which we’ve been following here on iHorror. But with production wrapping up, we still haven’t gotten a single glimpse of the actual movie.
Until today, that is.
Over on his Facebook page, Rob Zombie showed off the first ever image from 31, which depicts the villainous character ‘Doom-Head.’ “He runs a perfect game of death and misery,” Zombie said of the character, who is being played by Richard Brake.
Doom-Head is part of a murderous team of brothers living inside the film’s Murder World, which also includes Schizo-Head, Sex-Head and Death-Head. Other characters share equally evocative names, such as Father Murder, Sister Dragon and Cherry Bomb.
Rob Zombie’s 31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which ‘The Heads’- murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them
The cast includes Tracy Walter, Pancho Moler, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Jane Carr, Ginger Lynn, Lew Temple, Daniel Roebuck, E.G. Daily, Malcolm McDowell, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, David Ury, Judy Geeson, Torsten Voges, and Richard Brake. Sheri Moon Zombie is reportedly on board as well, but that has yet to be officially confirmed.
