Creepshow Season Two

Creepshow Season Two is shaping up to be another star-studded affair packed with genre legends and more! Shudder’s record-breaking anthology series inspired by George A. Romero and Stephen King’s 1982 film by the same name impressed fans with its casting choices as well as its stories and they’re obviously going for a repeat this season.

Among the casting highlights we received this morning are Ted Raimi (The Evil Dead), Ali Larter (Final Destination), Marilyn Manson (Sons of Anarchy), Iman Benson (Alexa & Katie), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), C. Thomas Howell (The Hitcher), Denise Crosby (Pet Sematary), Breckin Meyer (Robot Chicken), Kevin Dillon (Poseidon), and Eric Edelstein (Green Room).

This starry lineup joins the previously announced Anna Camp (True Blood) and Adam Pally (The Mindy Project) who will appear in two episodes titled “Shapeshifters Anonymous Parts 1 & 2” and Keith David (The Thing), Ashley Laurence (Hellraiser), and Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead) in an episode titled “Pesticide.”Ma

There is no word yet on what episodes and stories the newly announced talent will be involved in.

Season one of Creepshow is the most-watched program on the streaming service and was also responsible for the most sign-ups for the all horror/thriller platform. Showrunner Greg Nicotero and his talented cast and crew brought together the best elements of Romero’s original film to create a series that feels nostalgic even when telling brand new stories.

Creepshow Season Two is currently in production after a long hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions. The series was slated to begin production on the day that lockdown became mandatory throughout most of the United States. While there is no official date for the release, it would make most sense for us to see it in late summer or early fall of 2021. iHorror will keep you posted on those details as they become available.

UPDATE: “Shapeshifters Anonymous” has been moved to a holiday special!
