Last week, a man named Mike Pike suffering from sleep paralysis, a condition I’m very familiar with, could have caught a shadow figure rising from his floor to his ceiling. Probably not an answer to why you can’t sleep at night you want to know.

Mike said he would often wake up unable to move with the feeling like something was watching him and at times would notice a shadowy figure watching him at the foot of his bed. Although a form of sleep paralysis known as Hypnagogia can cause an illusion of shadow looking people, Mike felt this was something else. In hopes of capturing what he experienced while he tried to sleep, Mike set up a camera pointed toward the foot of his bed and what he captured is rather chilling. The video below looks to have the clip looped, using filters to darken and highlight the entity in question.

“I’m a rationalist and a very skeptical person with no previous interest in paranormal activity, but after doing some research it seemed like there was a possibility that this entity is real.”

Mike went on to say that perhaps his view has changed.

“I am really starting to believe that I captured the entity I saw during my paralysis on video. This terrifies me so much that I can no longer sleep in my room.”

Whether it is a ghost or not, I’m sure it’s a possible answer Mike may not have wanted. Being somewhat of a skeptic myself and there are a few elements in question, I’m interested in hearing what everyone else thinks. Do you think Mike captured something real or could it possibly be a hoax?

Either way, sleep tight, Mike.
