Time to play, you guys! A group of Buddi dolls showed up to Alamo Drafthouse in Austin with a serious (almost murderous) need to see the new Child’s Play film.
These Chucky cosplayers (if you look closely, I’m there) attended an advance screening of Lars Klevberg’s re-imagining of the OG ’88 film while dressed in full on Chucky attire.
There is something hilariously eerie about being surrounded by that many Chucks. Ultimately, what I found was that watching the film while dressed up in overalls, striped shirt and full makeup was probably the best, (and most surreal) way to experience the whole thing.
Child’s Play stars Aubrey Plaza as a mother who gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.
Are you guys excited about Child’s Play? Would you watch in full Chuck cosplay? Let us know in the comments below.
