Alive, the horror thriller directed by Rob Grant that took the festival circuit by storm, is getting ready for its big release in theaters and on demand on September 18, 2020 and in advance of the release date, they’ve turned out some bloody good new artwork.
The film stars Thomas Cocquerel, Camille Stopps, and Angus Macfadyen, in the store of a severely injured man (Cocquerel) and woman (Stopps) who awaken in an abandoned sanitorium with no memory of who they are or what has happened. A sadistic caretaker (Macfadyen) discourages their questions and doles out punishments whenever they refuse to cooperate or try to escape. When they finally make their escape to freedom, they discover the answers to who they are – revealing even greater horror.
We recently posted the new trailer for the film, and and the gorgeous artwork reminds us of the old adage, “Pain means you’re alive” in perhaps the most appropriate tagline we’ve ever read.
I was knocked out by the film when I saw it at Nightmares Film Festival a couple of years ago, and I highly recommend you mark your calendars for September 18, 2020 and get ready for a thrilling, dark story you won’t soon forget.
