Season two of Hulu’s Castle Rock is on the horizon and the streaming platform has dropped the first teaser trailer in anticipation of its release.
Drawing on the works of Stephen King with J.J. Abrams as executive producer, the series is set in the fictional town of Castle Rock where even the most mundane day is a little extraordinary and a lot terrifying.
Season two finds everyone’s favorite obsessive-fan/psychopathic nurse Annie Wilkes from Misery moving into the storied town just as things are heating up between two feuding families. Annie, of course, finds herself in the middle of things.
Though we’re not sure what role she’ll end up playing in this conflict, we have a feeling she will teach both sides a thing or two before the season ends.
Lizzy Caplan (Cloverfield) will take on the role of Wilkes. The season will also star Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption), Barkhad Abdi (Blade Runner 2049), Matthew Alan (Sons of Anarchy), and Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade).
The teaser trailer puts Caplan as Wilkes in the foreground along with Fisher who will be playing Annie’s daughter Joy.
Watch the teaser below, and look for Castle Rock Season Two to premiere, only on Hulu, on October 23, 2019!
