In the current streaming age, there are roughly a million options of things to watch at any given time. From classic hits to new originals, services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Shudder each offer thousands of choices when it comes to how to spend one’s day.

The biggest “gets” when it comes to the battle between streaming services are long-running, popular series, such as The X-Files, The Office, and Law & Order: SVU. Two series that very much fit that bill are Joss Whedon creation Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and its spinoff Angel.

It’s easy to see why, as shows like those above have tons of episodes to binge, and tend to be fun to digest individually as well. While Buffy and Angel do stream as part of Hulu’s paid library, Variety reports that both shows are now streaming free on Facebook Watch.

All 144 episodes of Buffy’s full 7-season run and all entries in Angel’s 110-episode 5-season run are now available, although users will have to “follow” their show pages to view episodes. Being free, the episodes are interrupted by ads, but hey, free is a lot cheaper than Hulu.

For diehard Whedonites, all episodes of Firefly are also streaming on Facebook Watch. While acclaimed, the show didn’t last long, and didn’t include vampires, demons, and monsters, so it’s not really relevant to horror lovers. It does have Nathan Fillion though, and he’s great.
