Looks like Jason Blum is taking on Freddy, the restaurant that is, not Krueger.

Deadline has announced his production company won the rights to horror video game “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” beating out almost every genre filmmaker in the business vying for this hot property.

Game creator Cawthon will also take a producing credit along with Chris Columbus who will also direct.

The film is based on the highly popular survival game which became a sensation after its release in 2014. It puts the player inside a restaurant filled with evil animatronic characters much like a certain other popular children’s arcade pizzaeria.

Built-in Merchandising also comes with the property. Recently the phenomenon of “Freddy’s” has produced figurines, popular t-shirts and children’s toy tie-ins.

Chris Columbus may be revisiting his roots with this one. He was the man responsible for writing Gremlins over three decades ago.

He then went on to make some big name comedies such as Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire. Columbus also kicked off the Harry Potter franchise by helming the first two films.

The House of Blum took to Twitter today to make the announcement official:
