One of the most memorable horror villains to grace the big screen this year was undoubtedly the evil goat Black Phillip, who of course took center stage in Robert Eggers’ The Witch. Before the movie even came out, the Black Phillip fan club had already opened up for business, and we’ve got a feeling that he’s only going to get more popular in the years to come. Now, he’s got his own hard cider!

The company Blake’s Hard Cider just announced their Fall 2016 offering in the form of “Black Phillip,” a cranberry and blood orange hard cider that is only available now through Halloween. This delicious offering doesn’t appear to be officially connected to The Witch in any way, but with an image of Black Phillip on the label, well, it’s not hard to see what they’re going for here. The fall seasonal is now available in only 8 states across the midwest, so tracking it down will be something of a Halloween challenge.

From the official website…

This new cranberry and blood orange infused semi-sweet cider veers away from the more predictable fall style brews with a more complex and interesting flavor that is perfect for Autumn. This is Blake’s Hard Cider’s first seasonal to be launched in a 12 oz can.
