Australian writer/director Chris Sun is taking audiences into the Australian outback for his brand new creature feature. It’s called Boar, and if the trailer is any indication, it’s going to be one terrifying trip.

The official synopsis, from IMDb, reads:

In the harsh, yet beautiful Australian outback lives a beast, an animal of staggering size, with a ruthless, driving need for blood and destruction. It cares for none, defends its territory with brutal force, and kills with a raw, animalistic savagery unlike any have seen before.

Sun, whose previous films include Come and Get Me and Charlie’s Farm, has brought together some serious star power for Boar.

Bill Moseley has been a genre mainstay since 1986’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 2 when he starred as “Chop Top” Sawyer. John Jarrett, who will forever be remembered as sadistic serial killer Mick Taylor in the Wolf Creek franchise, is also along for what looks like a seriously perilous journey.

Check out the trailer below and keep your eyes peeled for Boar later this year!
