Gather around ’90s kids of the Snick era. In case you may have missed it, the ultimate tribute film made by fans, for the fans exclusively of Are You Afraid of the Dark is coming FOR FREE to the Interwebs this Halloween, October 31, 2017!
The original kid-friendly horror series that appeared on Nickelodeon in the early ’90s to this day, has a loyally strong cult following and with memorable visual nightmares from the Midnight Society such as the Ghastly Grinner and Zeebo the Clown, the supreme fan service brought to you by Dark Hill Films in the form of a full-fledged movie with an all new tale of terror is frankly, long overdue.
Writers and directors Nathaniel Ingram and Zac Lockard have given the Are You Afraid of the Dark tribute film the working title, The Tale of the Ghostly Guest brings nostalgic fans back to that familiar campfire routine with a new generation of the Midnight Society. The story inside of the Ghostly Guest follows a boy named Christopher (Catcher Stair) who stays a weekend with his Grandpa Jasper (Sidney Flack), only to discover that they are not alone in the house. As secrets emerge, Christopher learns the extra guest has been welcomed to stay.

The Are You Afraid of the Dark tribute film stars Michael Jobe as Collin, Mya Cobb as Michelle, Sarah Townsend as Alex, Caleb Long as Jacob, Michael Hodges as Braden, and Caleb Milby as Zach as the new Midnight Society crew. The movie also stars Catcher Stair, Sidney Flack, Suzy Que, Dale Nehaus, and Debbi Tucker.
