The Halloween family reunion keeps adding more people to its long list of returning characters.
Charles Cyphers appeared as Sheriff Brackett in the original Halloween in 1978 then returned in that canon’s sequel in 1982.
Of course, this month has been filled with RSVPs of returning cast members from the original series, including Kyle Richards who played one of the kids Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) babysits on the first night he came home.
And it’s not just people making cameos in Halloween Kills. Haddonfield Memorial Hospital is also getting a credit. It is the location that first appeared in Halloween II where Michael Myers continues to stalk an injured Laurie Strode through the halls taking out staff members along the way.
The plot for this latest installment of the franchise is being closely guarded, but if director David Gordon Green keeps fans satiated with easter eggs and respectful nods to the original classic, we are in good hands.
Halloween Kills is scheduled to open on Oct. 16, 2020 with a final chapter the following year, Halloween Ends on Oct. 15, 2021.
