American Horror Story: 1984

American Horror Story: 1984 and Ryan Murphy keep pumping out new teasers for the upcoming series, each with its own little story to tell, but today they did a little something different with a tribute to Psycho on what would have been Alfred Hitchcock’s 120th birthday!

The teaser shows a camper (counselor?) taking a shower as the show’s killer slowly creeps up on them ready to move in for the kill, and well…you’ll just have to watch below.

The teaser was posted on the official Facebook page for the series with the caption, “Keep both eyes open.”

Aptly called the master of suspense, Hitchcock revolutionized filmmaking multiple times during his career, but few were as defining as Psycho starring Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins. It was a new kind of horror picture and Hitch held the audience in his grasp from start to finish.

American Horror Story: 1984 is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2019 on FX, and all eyes will be on the series to see how it performs without Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. This will be the first season to not feature the pair in major roles since its inception.

Check out that new teaser below, and let us know if you’ll be watching this tribute to classic 80s slashers in September!
