‘American Horror Stories’ Reveals It’s Own Horrors in Short Teaser

by Trey Hilburn III

During the Golden Globes we got a very special peek at American Horror Stories. This time for the American Horror Story spinoff series that is going to be exclusive to FX On Hulu. The new series will be much of the same spookiness that we are used to but with a slightly new spin.

These will act as a bit of an anthology series that will create individual episodes that are each going to be one-offs of the bizarre and macabre. This is great news for American Horror Story fans as it will give them more to bite into pertaining to the series.

“We are doing 16 one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore…many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love.” said AHS creator, Ryan Murphy.

This is bit of welcome change. The series as they currently exist is a bit long. The episodes in the current series last around 13 episodes. Sometimes, I even quit watching mid season due to the length and silliness that the series reaches by the midway point. American Horror Stories will be nice bite sized horror that I can definitely get behind.

How do you feel about the American Horror Stories approach?
