American Horror Story 1984

Ryan Murphy and the crew at FX are doing their best to keep our interests piqued for American Horror Story: 1984 as the days tick away to its debut on September 18, 2019.

The show dropped a brand new teaser today on their official Facebook page, giving us another glimpse of the killer while also reminding us to stick together in the woods.

In previous seasons, Murphy has used these teasers in numerous ways. Fans of the show will remember all of the various teaser images like the one below asking us to guess the season’s theme.

We already know this year’s theme, however, so what are these teasers about? Could it be that Murphy and crew are giving us clues to the killer’s backstory? Glimpses of Camp Redwood’s undoubtedly bloody past?

The show rarely includes anything in these teasers that aren’t a clue, and the use of “Suddenly Last Summer” by The Motels is becoming more conspicuous every time it turns up. At this point, we’ll just have to wait and see.

The new season premieres in September and will include returning stars Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, John Carroll Lynch and Cody Fern alongside series newcomers Matthew Morrison (Glee), Olympian Gus Kenworthy, Angelica Ross (Pose), and DeRon Horton (Dear White People).
