Toy company NECA has released action figures for all sorts of horror icons over the years, including all the greats like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. But it’s those nasty Predators that they’ve given the most love to, as that particular line is the longest-running in the company’s history.
Today, NECA unveiled Series 14 of their Predators line, featuring three brand new figures based on monsters seen in 2004’s Alien vs. Predator. The movie wasn’t all that great, there’s no denying that, but it featured some pretty badass character designs, which can now be displayed on your toy shelf.
Standing 8.25″ tall, Celtic, Scar and Chopper feature all-new bodies with a mind-blowing new level of articulation – over 30 points! Each comes with character-specific gauntlets, armor, weapons, trophies and other accessories. “We’ve paid close attention to detail to make these as accurate to the movie as possible,” says NECA.
Check out the full line-up below. Series 14 is due out in stores September of this year.
Also set for a Fall release is NECA’s Alien vs. Predator two-pack, which isn’t based on the movie but rather on the Kenner toy line from the early 90s. Kenner brought the two horror icons together long before Hollywood did, and this special set turns those retro toys into brand new collector’s items.
God bless you, NECA!
